Charles "Chas" Allen is a seasoned author, award-winning screenwriter, and film producer devoted to the art of powerful storytelling. He has written or collaborated on dozens of books across genres – from memoir and biography to political commentary and thriller – and is best known as the author of a gripping true-life memoir that was adapted into the acclaimed film American Animals. That film premiered at Sundance and went on to win multiple international awards, underscoring Allen’s talent for crafting narratives that resonate. In addition to his writing, Allen is the Founder and Lead Publisher of Storyteller Media, a Los Angeles-based publishing venture through which he has guided numerous writers in transforming their stories into bestselling books and award-winning films. He also serves as a Producer with Curiosity Entertainment, developing film and television projects with a focus on impactful, character-driven content. A recognized best-selling author, Allen began his screenwriting journey working on the drama Stealing Cars and later earned a spot in Ron Howard’s Imagine Impact program for emerging creative talent.
