Christie Dao

Christie Dao came to the US when she was twelve (12). She worked diligently to overcome language and cultural barriers. Determined not to let her college education be a family burden, she charted out a plan to get a full-tuition scholarship and her eventual dream job back in Asia. Christie credited her success to her family, teachers, mentors, managers, and friends. She believes in the power of planning and wishes to share how this has made her dreams come true. Inspired by those who helped her, Christie dreams of helping young adults tune out the noises to identify their dreams so that they may live them. Christie is the Director of Capability & Organization Optimization at GECO Asia, an IT consultancy. Here she and her team upskill and bridge consultants to their large-scale projects at one of the company's Fortune 500 customers. She has been living in Singapore for more than twenty (20+) years.
