Carla, native Texan, loves the western way of life, no matter where she hangs her hat in her travels. Her grandfather sparked her love for ranching and being horse back early on. She owned her first pony before the age of five, and soon after, fell in love with Roy Rogers, Dale Evans and Gabby Hayes on the silver screen.

Her college education has confirmed her love for learning; horsemanship, colt training, animal science, civil engineering, architecture and photography, and she loves practicing Watercolor and her life long passion of graphite drawings.

She has published 3 books; Cowboy Coloring Book - Central Montana Ranches (Amazon), Rider on the Pony Express Trail, One and Two. (Available any where books are sold.)

For years she kept these passions alive traveling in an RV with Rider (Australian Cattle Dog). She and Rider now have a new family member, a rescued Cattle Dog pup named Cowboy. They reside in Central Texas.
