I’m really good at taking tests. 4.0 in high school, 3.9 in college, top 1% on the GMAT, 3.9 in the MBA program. You don’t want me on your basketball team, but if you need help studying and preparing for an exam, I can help with that. I’ve also been recognized for my ability to improve business processes, including both operations and project management. Although I’ve been described as “the best natural project manager I’ve ever seen,” I believe that good managers are both born and made.

I’ve worked in the IT industry for over 30 years. I started out as a software developer (after getting a BS in Computer Science), and then moved into management and got an MBA because as much as I enjoyed programming, I was tired of seeing the work of exceptional development teams come to naught because of poor management. I’ve worked for organizations large, small, public, private, government, and non-profit - from software to cryptography, courseware development, training, consulting, publishing, retail, eCommerce, and mining.
