Nathalye Carolina Moreno

Nathalye Moreno is a Venezuelan- American and License professional counselor, Bicultural/Bilingual specializes in provide child and family, with mental health therapy, overcoming the barriers of language and culture.

Nathalye Mission is providing resources and guide to child and families for “An equal world”. Nathalye is stronger believer in education because was education who help her to understand and seek for equality and becoming a strong independent woman. For that reason, her passion is working with countries in crisis were the education system collapse. When the education collapse this make our children’s and families more vulnerable for slavery, addictions, mental illness, perpetuation of stigmas and victimization. Part of her camping is support fundraiser that help Adults and children continue education in countries in crisis. Also, she designed a self- tutor program that help child and family’s illiterate to learn how to write and read in time of crisis. Her dream is to be able to provide this self-tutoring program to these countries in crisis.

Nathalye was recognized as student for The Colorado Health Foundation Profession Scholarship. This award was accomplished for presenting a critical voice of how the level of education and the culture impact in mental illness. Central Colorado health dig into the issue of inequity and its connection to poverty, unemployment, immigration, geography, behavioral health.

Nathalye was born in Venezuela. She grows there and was able to graduate from college with her first degree in Business management. Her family still living there. She is a first-generation immigrant. She moved to the United States at 25 years old. She immigrates when the socio-economic situation / dictatorship forces many Venezuelan to leave the country. She says “the ones outside, we trying to keep the name of Venezuela alive and free to show to the world how resilient we are”. Nathalye still go to Venezuela to stay with my family. Nathalye feel that she has the best of both worlds: “When you are an immigrant you enhance your understanding for others cultures, adopt new values and learn speak other language, is like open the doors to reach more people”.
