Shaun Armstrong lives in Devon, England, near the moors on which his writing is centered. He enjoys the outdoors and finds time to think while out running with Chase the dog. Some of his best inspiration comes while running through the Devon countryside.
He was brought up on a diet of mystery and horror novels. They have shaped his mind and it is in that genre in which he finds the most joy in writing. The trilogy of 'The Shame of Middle Gratestone', 'Haunted by Death' and 'The Ghost of Middle Gratestone' are supernatural ghost stories. 'Dire Marsh' is also a supernatural ghost story but steeped in folklore. 'The Haunting of Bleakmoor House' is, as the title suggests, a haunted house story. All his novels are suitable for teenagers and adults, alike.
He is feverishly working on his next novel and hopes to have it out soon.
