Luke Newman

Luke Newman was born in 1976 and grew up in Fredericksburg, VA. He is a Combat Veteran that retired from the Army in 2016 and lives with his wife and 4 children in Mt. Airy, MD. He has a BA in Integrated Arts from the University of Baltimore, and is currently working towards an M.F.A. in Creative Writing and Publishing Arts.

Luke has been writing and building his arts and entertainment studio, At The Spot Studios, since his retirement. Luke's current book series, LEGENDARY: The Chronicles of Fayne, follows a young girl and her friends on their journey of discovery and adventure throughout the magical world of Kathka. Luke loves to build rich, fantastic, multi-layered worlds that are new and exciting, but still feel familiar and relatable. He creates characters that you will love, or love to hate...both strong and flawed. With an epic vision and an episodic approach, the LEGENDARY Series draws you in early and keeps you turning the pages until the last word.
