Laney Wind

Laney Wind is an Autism Paraprofessional in the Kansas City, Kansas area. She has earned college credits in an Interpreter Training Program for Sign Language for the Deaf.

She has three daughters and the youngest often gets accused of being spoilt by the other two siblings. Laney has the luxury of all her children living close by and the joys of experiencing her first grandchild who happens to be a boy with possibly the best sense of humor one would ever come across in a four year old. A joy!

Besides a love for family, Laney has found a love for writing. It began in childhood with preteen poems written to express silliness and beauty, then hurt and pain. Intertwined with the love for writing Laney discovered sketching and painting.

But beauty can come from ashes. During the past five years, Laney has embraced and developed her heart for music, writing and art. To find freedom in expressing worship in each one. And learning to live in the peace in which the Maker of these gifts brings.
