Akemi Woofter

Akemi was born and raised in a small town in western Japan. In 1975 she married Tom and moved to the United States with him. For seven years they moved about from one place to another while Tom was finishing his schooling. In 1982 the family settled in Northern California where the last two of their four children were born and where Tom and Akemi live today.
