Elizabeth L. Fox

Elizabeth Fox, the daughter of Lenny and Diana Miller, was born in New York City during her father’s military service in World War II. The letters her parents exchanged before and immediately after her birth, which she later collected and preserved, are the basis for We Are Going To Be Lucky: The World War II Letters Between a Soldier and His Wife.

Fox has served for more than twenty years in a leadership role on the National Board of Hadassah where her responsibilities include writing, training, and public speaking. She has a BA in history from the City College of New York and an MA in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from New York University. She worked for many years as a middle and high school teacher.

Fox lives in Boulder, Colorado, with her husband. She has three children and six grandchildren.
