Jennifer L Raphael

The First Year is the Hardest began as journaling to understand the myriad of emotions surrounding her divorce. Journaling evolved into the series of narratives in this book. Jennifer's need to understand and make sense of the changes accompanying the dissolution of her marriage was a catalyst for reinventing herself and for the recovery of her self-esteem and happiness.

She heard the phrase "the first year is the hardest" repeatedly. Those six words inspired her perspective shift and became a lifeline of hope and courage. Sharing her discoveries in such a personal way is meant to extend the same lifeline to others who may feel discouraged or hopeless.

Jennifer is a CNC (Certified Neurodiversity Coach), a CPO® (Certified Professional Organizer), an RN., and a member of ACO, ADDA, CHADD, ICD, and NAPO. She is an ADHD/Neurodiversity coach and consultant and the sole proprietor of Less-Stress Organizing Solutions®.
