Even though The Long Hall is fiction, as an author I want my book to have an impact on the real world. In my youth I was raised by an atheist and called myself an atheist. I laughed at Christians as weak and ignorant people. At the age of twenty-seven I began a personal search for truth which lead me ultimately to the truth of Christ. My journey explains my passion for apologetics, exploring the scientific and historic proofs for Christianity. I am trained in law and practiced law for several years. My dual major undergraduate degree was in English/ Communication. The Long Hall is my first book. I wrote it to share my passion for Christ and to explore and expose the patterns I see in this lost world today.
The Long Hall is a powerful spiritual journey. Seth, the main character, has a dream more real than any he’s ever had. With an angel as his guide, Seth is taken to Hades, a demon high school, where demon professors train their students in the art of deception. Seth learns the sinister truth and he intends to share it with the world. The real question is, will the world listen?
My book was inspired by CS Lewis' The Screwtape Letters. Other books I love are Darwin On Trial by Phillip E Johnson, Douglas Axe's new book Undeniable:How Biology Confirms Our Intuition That Life Is Designed, and the book I Don't Have Enough Faith To Be An Atheist by Norman Geisler and Frank Turek.
