Marijana Brdar

Marijana Sommerfeld (née Brdar) is the Founder and CEO of The Self-Healing Academy, a transformational guide and mentor supporting committed leaders and visionaries in transforming limiting stories and emotional patterns into conscious leadership and authentic expression. Combining nearly two decades of corporate experience in international project and process management with a decade of entrepreneurship, she bridges the worlds of Doing and Being — structure and soul. Rooted in her own self-healing journey, Marijana helps individuals reconnect with their wholeness and shift their identity toward balance, co-creation, and joy, resulting in more peace within and in the world.

She has co-authored the Book Corporate to Calling (Hille House Publishing - Nov 25) and contributed a deep and transformative chapter: Suppression to Unconditional Expression - A Journey from Fear to Joy.

Born and raised in Berlin, she has been living in Cologne since 2000. Her book "Travel Guide for an Unplanned Journey - Diagnosis of Cancer" - (Carl-Auer Verlag - only German and published under her former name Marijana Brdar) is a travel companion for those affected, their helpers as well as for all interested readers.Through each of her sensitive observations shimmers her own context of experience as well as the desire to personally support the reader without lecturing.

Marijana has been self-employed since 2010. She is the co-founder and managing partner of reconnect health consulting GmbH & Co. KG. She founded her new Self-Healing Academy in 2025, expressing the next level as a guide and mentor for conscious self-leadership.
