I am an architect, married with two grown children, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. My wife and I were both raised Catholic, but we are now Full Gospel believers. I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of 28 and was filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of 31. His infilling forevermore changed my life. It has been and still is an awesome journey, and I praise the Lord Almighty for paying a debt I never could pay.

It took five years to write "The Father's Gift The Holy Spirit", and my editor cut the original manuscript from 280 plus pages to its present length of 142 pages. The church greatly needs the moving and infilling of the Holy Spirit in the believer. The pivotal scripture crucial to the book is: John 14:16-17 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you." Positionally Jesus is saying two things with and in. To this end the book was written.

It is my desire the reader retreat within their prayer closet and seek the Lord Jesus Christ for all that He is. That He is the truth, the way, and the life, and there is no other or no other way. That He visit them and open up their hearts to love Him more, to seek Him more, to be imbued with "Power from on high."

Writing The Father's Gift-The Holy Spirit was extremely humbling. The reason it took as long as it did was because I wanted to make sure what was written was the truth, and that the Lord would be pleased with the book. So there were long periods of writing, rewriting, deleting, etc. Listening to Him speak as I would write and rewrite cannot be measured or explained. I praise Him for His faithfulness, and His deepening of my spirit man.

Having taught the Bible for over forty years now I have feasted on the Word of the Lord and consider the Bible my most favorite book. Other men that have influenced and mentored me in my walk are authors such as: George Warnock, Watchmen Nee, C.S. Lewis, A.W. Tozer, Leonard Ravenhill, John G. Lake, Norvel Hayes, and R.W. Shambach. Others are my pastor , and dear friends that have walked along with me as iron sharpens iron and deep calls unto deep.

Hopefully, all that purchase my book would open their Bible while reading and check out what I have written against that which is written in the Word. Reading with an open heart and spirit. Should they read something that goes cross-grain from what they personally believe or have experienced, or it doesn't line up with their particular denomination they have the strength and heart to check out what is written in the Word. And most importantly the willingness to change if that is what the Holy Spirit is revealing. It takes courage to believe all of the Word, and place Jesus Christ above all that we are.
