I live in the Highlands of Scotland with my wife, Tess, who is originally from the Philippines. We met on a Christian website and from there our love blossomed. She says she only replied to my initial e-mail because I told her all my problems!!

Apart from writing I am interested in photography and art. I enjoy landscape painting and I get the inspiration from the mountains and lochs in this beautiful area. Fishing the hill lochs is also another passion. Tess also enjoys writing and painting but most of all reading. The house is full of books!!

To commemorate the one hundred years anniversary of the First World War in November 1918 I wrote a book detailing the action on the Western Front, a book about the Battle of Gallipoli and two books of successful prisoner-of-war escape accounts. Only the book "Murder at Gallipoli" is now available.

Living in the Highlands of Scotland and having a love of poetry I then decided to publish two books containing a selection of poetry from the old Scottish poets. I wanted to keep their memory alive. The books are "Scottish Poetic Heritage" and "Scottish Poetic Treasury." I highly recommend these books to anyone with a love of Scotland.

I then, for my own pleasure, wrote two very short stories depicting two aristocratic characters in the Army during a fictional war.

I came to really like these two characters, Lord Bigsby and Field Marshal James, with their eccentric ways.

I now concentrate on and I am really enjoying writing light-hearted amateur private detective mysteries with Bigsby and James as the two detectives. My first book in the 'Aristocrats Mystery' series, published by Cozy Cat Press, is titled "Death of Lord Percy".

My second one is now available -- "Death of Alistair MacTavish".

My wife has written about her traumatic life and childhood rejection in the Philippines "Dare To Dream" under her pen-name Diane Mira.

You will learn more about us as you read the books!
