Shannon Whitford

I am from Central Pennsylvania. I've been married for many years and have two adult children.

My book Without Family Ties was written about a personal experience. The names and places were changed so those involved would not know of whom I was writing about.

Unfathomable was an idea I came up with after i was almost left behind on a tour while touring Sweeden. Soon after my return I heard a sad story about womenwho had been abducted and lived in horrible conditions. They were expected to perform horrendous activitie. The gave birth to their abductors children and were still expected to be a house maid.

I attended college for journalism but left to get married before i completed my degree. Years later, although I never completed college, i decided to try my luck at writing and these two books were my eperiments.

I am now in my 60's and am exicted that i was able to tell my stories.
