James Merrifield

James Merrifield was born in Downey California and was raised in The Los Angeles County area until 1987 when his mother decided to relocate to Costa Mesa in Orange County California. James lived a hard child hood and as he grew up was very determined to break a vicious cycle that would now identify him as not only the strong minded icon in his entire family, but would best be recognized as a community leader and a true example of anything that you set your mind to achieve can be done if you are willing to pay the price. His story Defying The Odds is a very graphic story that will inspire many to do and be there absolute very best. James was so passionate about his life story that he also published Defying The Odds in Spanish as he believed that the Latino community needed to hear his story as James believes that they too have hopes and dreams just like he did and they also need to know that anything in life is possible as long as you set your mind to it. James Merrifield always felt that his life was like a movie and felt that it was now time to share it with the entire world.
