Amanda Sterczyk

Amanda Sterczyk is a Canadian multi-genre author whose career took an unexpected turn from push-ups to plot twists. Formerly a seniors’ fitness expert, she now spends her days dreaming up lighthearted mysteries featuring quirky characters and talking animals. She is the author of three distinct but interconnected cozy mystery series: The Catmint Chronicles, The Pugs Cozy Mysteries, and The Mixed-Paws Mysteries.

Her motto has evolved from “Move more, feel better” to “Sip tea, pet cat, solve fictional crimes.”

She holds a Master’s degree in social psychology and has a background in health research. Amanda lives in Ottawa, Canada, with her family and one very clingy cat who insists she contributes to the writing process.
