Amanda Sterczyk

Amanda Sterczyk is a Canadian author whose brain recently pivoted from push-ups to plot twists. Previously a seniors’ fitness expert featured in various media outlets, her motto has shifted from “Move more, feel better” to “Sip tea, pet cat, solve fictional crimes.”

In addition to her nonfiction works and debut novel, Selfried and the Secrets, Amanda is thrilled to introduce The Catmint Chronicles and The Pugs Cozy Mysteries. Both series feature quirky villagers, suspicious herbs, and talking animals... some adorable, some just plain sarcastic.

She holds a Master’s in social psychology and has a background in health research and HR. Amanda lives in Ottawa with her family and a clingy cat who insists she didn’t help write the books—she just napped dramatically on the manuscripts.
