The author is a licensed registered nurse, nurse practitioner with a background in women's healthcare. She also owned and facilitated a holistic healing center for several years. Sherry has lived and worked in California, Washington State and Oregon. Sherry has one biological daughter, Alysia, and 1 step-son, Sam. Her life has been dedicated to caring for her family and assisting others along the way. She is currently retired and resides in the Palm Springs area. Sherry is physically active and enjoys travel, swimming, pickle ball, golf with her husband, and long walks with her Boston Terrier, Bella. She and her husband have traveled the United States extensively in their bus and worked for the RV industry for several years. Her husband, Leon, is a professional entertainer. Last summer, she and Leon took a cruise to Alaska and also spent several weeks with dear friends in the Toronto area. She has always been a voracious reader with a special interest in metaphysics and holistic nutrition. Sherry and Leon's blended family of 4 adult children, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren are a priority to them and they travel every summer to visit each family.
