Kamal Malaker

Professor Kamalendu Malaker is Internationally respected with a distinguished career in Clinical and academic Oncology. His past affiliations with the University of Oxford, University of London, Harvard Medical School, The Imperial College of Science, Engineering and Health Sciences in London, University of Manitoba, Ross University School of Medicine in West Indies, University of Calcutta; One are well noteworthy. In addition, his expertise took him to serve in Sub-Saharan Africa, Libya, Saudi Arabia, The Emirates, West Indies, and Singapore in Southeast Asia.

He has more than 100 scientific publications, nearly 40 popular essays, and travelogue. He has Authored several Scientific Books. “Radioprotectors – Clinical, Biological and clinical perspective “was a best ten scientific publication sold between 1998 and 2008. In addition, he has authored “The Plasma,” a medical thriller, shortlisted in Chanticleer Book Review in the category of Global Thriller in 2018. The Plasma has also been translated into the Bengali language. His book titled “It is 7 am in cardiac ward “is An autobiographical memoir documenting his personal feelings and experience as a cardiac patient, listed as one of the popular books in 2019-2020. in Amazon also being reviewed for Russian translation.

His love for writing started from his school days. He is passionate about writing. He writes insightfully with a vision on health care, cancer, and social problems involving his vast professional career experiences beyond the geographical and cultural divide.

Professor Malaker has just been elected as a member of the board of Directors of the Manitoba Writers Guild (MWG).
