Micah R Colbert

Micah Colbert (M.Div and M.Ed in TESOL) has spent the past 10 years laboring to make, mature, and multiply disciples of Christ as a missionary and church planter. Prior to planting Gospel Life Church in Buffalo, NY, Micah served as church-planting missionary in Ghana, West Africa for 4 years with Open Door Baptist Missions. In addition to pastoring, Micah also teaches ESL part-time to adult refugees and immigrants in the city. One of Micah's primary ministry passions is to help God’s people see how the gospel influences, shapes and permeates all aspects of the Christian life. In his free time, he loves spending time with his wife and children, reading Banner of Truth books, drinking strong coffee, and leading gospel studies with international students at the local campus.
