C.D. Muller (who also writes romance under the pen name Crystal Summers) has been building worlds since she first fell in love with magic through Harry Potter. At just fourteen years old, she began writing the first installment of what would become the Armageddon Trilogy, inspired by her fascination with dragons, destiny, and the battle between light and darkness.
A 2009 graduate of Patagonia Union High School, Muller went on to study Computer Science and programming in college. Even while immersed in logic and code, storytelling remained at the heart of her world. She wrote plays for the Tin Shed Theatre and created engaging presentations for elementary students, always drawn back to the power of imagination and connection.
After the devastating loss of her husband, Muller’s creative world nearly went silent. Grief reshaped her writing, deepening its emotional core and sharpening its themes of resilience, love, sacrifice, and rebirth. What once began as fantasy escapism evolved into something more profound—stories where strength rises from heartbreak and magic mirrors the complexity of real life. Through writing and art, she found healing, and in doing so, created worlds where readers can do the same.
Her novels are written for upper YA readers who crave epic adventure, fierce loyalty, slow-burn romance, and characters who must confront both monsters and themselves. Fans of Eragon, Harry Potter, Stephenie Meyer, Anne Rice, and Sarah J. Maas will feel at home in her richly imagined universes.
She currently lives in Sahuarita, Arizona, with her girlfriend and two children, where she continues crafting stories filled with dragons, destiny, and the enduring power of hope.
