David Sayndee

Pastor David S. Sayndee, Jr. was born on April 8, 1979, in Monrovia, Liberia, to the late Mr. David N. Sayndee, Sr., and Miss Cecelia Kamanda (now Mrs. Cecelia K. Ndorbor). Raised under a strict Christian upbringing, David developed a deep passion for God and ministry from an early age. Although his father was not a regular churchgoer, his insistence that the children attend church laid the foundation for David’s lifelong commitment to service.

David’s ministry journey began at age seven, when he performed his first solo at his kindergarten graduation. By age nine, he was singing with the senior choir at the Four Square Gospel Church in Jacob’s Town, Paynesville. At twelve, he became the church’s music director, and by fifteen he was playing the keyboard—his primary instrument—at Evangel Temple Evangelistic Lutheran Church, where he also led worship.

Over the past three decades, David has served as worship leader and music director in numerous churches, including Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners Chapel) in Monrovia, Arlington Christian Bible Fellowship in Texas, First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Monrovia, Kingdom Harvest Ministries in Oregon, Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in North Carolina, and currently Household of Faith in Arlington, Texas.

He has worked with some of Liberia’s and the diaspora’s most celebrated choirs, including the National Evangelical Mass Choir—the nation’s first mass choir—the New Life Mission Choir as chief musician, and the Young Ambassadors for Christ Male Chorus. Despite having no formal music training, David is widely regarded as a professional, anointed gospel worship singer and skilled musician in Liberia, across the African diaspora, and internationally.

In addition to serving churches, Pastor David is a music producer and recording artist. His debut album, Crazy for Jesus, is available on major platforms, along with several singles. Driven by a passion to equip other musicians, he authored two books: Principles to Becoming an Effective and Impactful Music Minister (2016) and The Supernatural Power of Music (2022).

Ordained as a pastor and minister of the Gospel in 2013, David relocated to the United States to expand his ministry. He now works as a freelance pastor, partnering with churches to strengthen their music ministries through gospel music conferences, seminars, and special events. He is the founder and pastor of David Sayndee Ministries International.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity degree.
