My profile picture is my son and I on top of Mt. Little Bear, on of Colorado's incredible "14ers" and in this case one that plays a key role in my latest novel.

I have had an eclectic work history that includes the park service, construction, and Christian ministry, but I have been writing through them all. I particularly enjoy science fiction, with all the possibilities that offers, and military action, typically combining the two. I am also an unapologetic advocate of God, family, and country, with characters who embody and demonstrate those values.
