Michael T. Adamson

Michael Adamson is a life-long Avon, Indiana resident, living in Hendricks County located just west of Indianapolis. After retiring from a 31+ year career at General Motors, Dr. Adamson began a second-half career as the Director of Board Services at the Indiana School Boards Association. Capitalizing on his 20-years of experience as an elected school board member, Dr. Adamson now provides professional development to school boards and administrators, especially in the area of complementary roles and responsibilities with an emphasis on the development of foundational statements.

In addition to co-authoring his book, Dr. Adamson is the editor of the quarterly association magazine, The Journal, and is a regular contributor to the AASA magazine, School Administrator.
