Andrew Hodges

Andrew Hodges, PhD is an author, book editor, and coach who specializes in science fiction and fantasy. With a background in cultural anthrology, they have expertise in worldbuilding and cultural considerations when crafting setting in stories. They live in Edinburgh, Scotland and were based in the Balkans from 2008–2019.

Andrew writes fiction and ethnography, especially about subcultures in the UK and Croatia. They've published extensively on football fandom in Zagreb, Croatia with an emphasis on progressive fan initiatives, and more recently on the alternative scene in Manchester.
