Jon Taylor

Hi my name is Jon Taylor from Clear Lake, Texas. It's always been a dream of mine to write a children's book. I've always dreamed of being a writer when I was a kid. When my wife passed in January 2018 to cancer, I figure it's time to try my hand at writing children's books.

My son, 7 yrs ago, bought a miniature Boston terrier and named her Monkey. I have no grandchildren, so why not a grand dog. She is so cute and jolly. I thought why not a children's book called, "My Dog Monkey!" No one else has done it, so why not me? The books are exactly the way she is. Now, I came out with "Monkey's Big Adventure!" Both books are non-fictional.

I hope you enjoy the books and buy them for your children or grandchildren. I'm looking to do some book signings, so if you see me around stop and say hi. We're are creating a series of Monkey books. Possibly 5 all together. Be on the lookout for number three.
