From training award-winning educators to helping families raise life-long learners, Maya Lynn is driven to make literacy accessible to all students.

As a literacy advocate, Maya works with public schools, private schools, and nonprofits to train students using strategies that focus on the learner, not the test. Maya’s methods not only have helped students pass state assessments for the first time, but also help build confidence in her students that allow them to enjoy learning again.

Maya is the founder of LAMA Learning, an educational service company that connects families to the best and brightest educators that are trained to work with students in a 1-to-1 setting to provide focused, quality instruction.

Maya is also the founder and president of RVA Sistas United, a nonprofit organization in Richmond, Virginia. RVA Sistas United is an online community of women who have come together to bring about POSITIVE change in the Greater Richmond and Tri-Cities areas through EDUCATION, ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT, COMMUNITY WELLNESS, & SOCIAL ACTIVISM.
