Born in Ireland Kieran originally worked as an Architect in Dublin and London.
He has spent many years studying psychology with a focus on cognition and behavioural economics. This research, as well as his correspondence with some leading thinkers in this field are synthesised into his books:

Kieran built a successful career as a senior management consultant specialising in strategic change. He worked at a senior level in IBM and has been a partner in KPMG Consulting. He is also a serial entrepreneur; setting up a variety of business ranging
from restaurants to health care, via property and mobile telephony. Some of these were even successful!
Kieran is a Humanist UK School Speaker ─ explaining Humanist philosophy to school children. He also gives free copies of his books to school libraries and promotes the idea that ‘thinking about thinking’ will eventually become a part of every school’s curriculum.
Kieran lives in London, a city that he loves for its cosmopolitan energy.
