Alan Bradshaw

Professor Alan Bradshaw is Head of Department at Royal Holloway, University of London. He previously worked at University of Stockholm and the University of Exeter and he completed his PhD at the Dublin Institute of Technology.

His most recent book, The Dictionary of Coronavirus Culture, co-edited with Joel Hietanen, presents a collection of shorts essays by notable authors exploring the emergent Coronavirus landscape.

Advertising Revolution, which he co-authored with Linda Scott traces the song Revolution by the Beatles from being the Beatles' best selling single, to being used in one of the most seminal advertisements of all time, a Weiden + Kennedy spot for Nike in 1987.
