A member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, AWP association of writers, Romance Writers of America, and the Michigan Writers League, Gretchen Rose is the award-winning author of the gripping memoir, “Dancing with the Devil,” a middle grade fantasy, “Dune Dragons," the women's contemporary fiction "Very Vero," books, "Veni, Vidi, Vero," and “A LIttle Vice in Paradise," a holiday romance novel, "A Christmas Charm," and a middle grade historical fantasy set in San Antonio's Japanese Tea Garden, "The Jingu Magical Garden." A classically trained soprano, Gretchen has performed in countless professional musical and theatrical venues and penned three musical comedies, one of which was professionally produced in the largest regional theater in the South starring Mandy Moore! Gretchen also writes screenplays, short stories, and poetry. She and her partner, Mel Laracey, split their time between San Antonio, Texas and Empire, Michigan.
