A B Powers

A B Powers was born in Norfolk, England in 1946. He studied Fine Art in London and has been a practicing Graphic Artist and Sculptor for most of his life. Anthony's own art has always been very imaginative, so embarking on writing children’s illustrated stories seems like a natural progression at this point in his life.

Anthony had a scifi short story called ‘Sole Survivor’ published online by ‘Aphelion’ in 2003 and has a box of unpublished graphic novels under his bed awaiting illustration.

Meanwhile, Books One, Two and Three in the ‘GUIDO’ series are all available in paperback and eBook formats and an illustrated novel for young adults -'Hector Swift & his Talking Parrot' is a new work in progress.

PAST INTERESTS:

30 years practicing and teaching Aikido in the UK & Australia.

Building a thirty foot Polynesian Catamaran to sail the Great Australian Barrier Reef.

Teaching Art & Sculpture. Occasional freelance journalism.

CURRENT INTERESTS:

Writing, drawing, meditating, playing classical guitar & Patricia (not necessarily in that order).
