Born in an army family, Rashmi pursued Human Resource as her business administration subject along with a degree in Labour Law and Labour Welfare. This landed her in an IT company for a few years until she finally left for the love of music which she had been training in, since her teenage years. A couple of albums, which were much appreciated, saw her as a full time artist thereafter.

An evolutionary disposition from the beginning had her writing quotable quotes about life from the tender age of 13. Her spiritual instincts only sharpened by the challenging years she faced as she journeyed along; which she now terms, 'Mentally Stimulating'. She realised that everything was gently prodding her to finally reach her foreordained destination - of sharing the knowledge that she gained in her spiritual pursuits.

Her first book 'Here and Beyond' says that we are conditioned to think that only monks and ascetics have the right over spiritual experiences but the truth is that, one can move towards spiritual evolution even while living a worldly life. What lies deep within is not necessarily decided by what clothes one wears or what cars one drives. What thoughts occupy one’s mind is what decides how spiritual one is. If we nurture negative thoughts then our faith won’t help us. If we continually hurt people our prayers won’t cooperate with us. If we do not tune in to our inner voice, our rituals won’t come to our rescue. Only our soul can salvage us. Make it the boss of your system and you shall see your world transform.

Her second book which is in its finishing stages deals with the man and the woman relationship. What are those energies that attracts one to the other in a room full of a hundred people? Why does that 'one' person have the power to steal your attention? Are men and women really from mars and venus? Answers to these questions have been articulated in this book. Its radically different from what the world has been given to understand.
