Georg Windeck is an architect and educator from Berlin, living and working in New York City. His essays, articles and books are a celebration of the architectural design process: He discusses the construction of buildings as an artistic endeavor that is inspired by technological inventions and philosophical ideas. The writings are based on his architectural practice and on his research at universities in the USA and Europe, where he taught design studios, art history classes and advanced seminars in critical theory over the past two decades.
