Cal Smith

Cal Smith was born in Tonawanda, New York, in 1930 to Canadian parents, grew up in Northern Ontario and has been a news reporter, newspaper and magazine columnist, and publisher for more than fifty years. Basically a storyteller, his unique rhyming style makes his poems easy to read and impossible to keep to yourself, which is why we titled the book 'Poetry that's fun to read out loud' and why we guarantee that you will indeed, find it fun to read. His first two books, an exciting underwater adventure book "When Devil fish Come Out to Play" and a heart-warming look at the 1930's depression "Down by the Railroad Tracks" are also available on Amazon.
