Graham Mann

I am an author from Ipswich, UK. I am 51 years old. In 2017 I self published my debut book "The Unity Spire". Writing a book is something that I have wanted to do for a number of years and I finally made the time to do it. The Unity Spire is the first installment in The Unity Chronicles. Followed by The Order Of The White Rock, The Lost Protector and most recently The Essence was released on 20th September 2022. I am currently working on Qa'Xeera, The Last War which I hope to publish early next year.

I wanted to write something fast paced and exciting that fired the imagination and kept the reader guessing and surprised. I was inspired by being uninspired by a lot of sci fi/fantasy/space opera novels that I had read. They seemed ploddy and meandering with not a lot of action or excitement. I wanted to convey a sense of urgency, action and fun. Something that I would find a satisfying read. I hope that in the readers opinion I have achieved at least some of what I set out to do.

The support I have had and the feedback from Family, friends and strangers alike has been overwhelming. I started writing for myself but I'm really pleased that others are enjoying this new universe and the numerous characters and adventures within it.

I tend to totally throw myself into things and figure the rest out as I go along. I had previously written short children's stories, some of which I still intend to publish.

I am also a singer/songwriter and currently play in a band called Fisti Kuffs. I love being creative with words, I also love music and comedy.

In the real world I am a happily married father of two. I am also co-founder of Re-Create Social Enterprises Ltd, a very successful therapeutic work based service for adults with learning disabilities.
