Michael Perez

Michael Perez is a writer and professional photographer based out of Castle Rock, Colorado. As a young boy raised in the suburbs of Southern California, Michael had two definitive interests, which were Photography and Writing. His late father bought him his first camera and it just went from there. He never excelled in school or was recognized scholastically. He spent most of his free time day dreaming with a pair of headphones in his ears. Music was a creative conduit for Michael growing up. His interest in photography became a career for him in his mid-twenties. As a professional photographer he has had the opportunity to work with professional models, commercial clients and for a period of time, was tour photographer for Bone Thugs n Harmony. It wasn’t until his early thirties that Michael picked up the pen and yellow pad of paper again and began to write the outline for El Frio. Michael is currently working on several projects both in the Writing and Photography world. The moral of Michael’s story is simple, if you want something bad enough, no matter your current situation, your past or the obstacles ahead of you… You will find a way to make your dreams a reality.
