It all started in eighth grade, Brandon was forced to choose his career path. By making this decision so early in life, he became pigeonholed into studying one field. He made it through high school, two undergraduate degrees, and a master's degree without ever taking a class on personal finance - that should be criminal!

Frustrated by always feeling uneducated when the topic of personal finance was brought up, Brandon decided to do something about it. Through dedicated research, countless conversations with financial advisors, personal experiences, and the help of his amazing wife, Brandon created Strugglehood.com - a blog dedicated to teaching young adults basic financial principles they weren't taught in school.

His writing style is laid back and easy-to-understand. It's not laced with confusing industry jargon, but rather simple and to the point because that's how he had to learn it. His goal is to help adults of all ages gain their financial freedom!
