Mike Sternad

Mike Sternad grew up in Northern California and at a young age began making horrible decisions. By his adolescence, he had shuffled through several high schools, became suicidal, and spent two months in a mental institution. At the age of 18, Mike continued on a downward spiral and was ready to get out of Northern California. In 2000, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a music career and began playing in a band and continuing to stay stuck in a cycle of emptiness. After again reaching a deep low, Mike began searching for fulfillment that he believed was out there. After attending a Calvary Chapel Bible study, Mike began to have a hunger to read God's Word and surrendered his life to Jesus. In 2002, he began to attend Calvary Chapel LAX and began serving the Lord wherever the Church had needs. After serving in various ministries and attending Calvary Chapel School of Ministry, he was ordained in 2011. In 2014 Mike felt the call to plant a church, and in 2017, he and his family moved to the Deep South. Mike, his wife Brianne, and their two girls, Hannah and Lily, now reside in Mobile, Alabama.
