Matthew Arnold

Matt Arnold was born and grew up in Exeter, Devon. In 2017, he set himself a challenge: deciding to investigate an area closer to home. He set his sights on walking the 100 mile long-distance path named the Two Moors Way, a trail spanning nearly the entire breadth of Devon. He chose to walk the reverse of the traditional route. His experience heading in this direction lead him to create a guide to cater for other people who also wanted to walk the route in reverse.

This is how the first Trail Wanderer guide book was born. From here, he has produced a variety of other guides that cover other breath-taking trails through the countryside as well as a cycling End to End guide.

Today, Matt continues to reside in Exeter and can often be found, out and about, exploring the surrounding countryside, or embarking on another adventure.
