Mickie Zada

Mickie Zada is an enthusiastic participant in life; that was not always the case! She did not grow up in an abusive family...but she was attracted to an abusive husband.

Having lived in domestic abuse for 34 years (she stayed way tooo long at the dance!), at 53 she began creating her authentic life. It's never too late; There is always hope!

Looking Behind Closed Doors provides stories, insights, and actionable suggestions for moving from where you were to who you are, after domestic abuse. Mickie shares that, in discovering Herself, she tried one new thing a week, for a year (which is how she ended up with a tattoo on her hip!). She employed journalling and meditation, as well as exclaiming "Cancel-Cancel", to improve her mindset. Discovering her Signature Strengths provided focus and direction in her life that did not exist before. Grasping the theory of collective collusion changed everything!

Every story is true. Each suggestion Mickie makes in Looking Behind Closed Doors was learned and applied in the process of changing her life and perspective after abuse...if we don't change, nothing changes!
