Ty Noel

Ty Noel was born in the small town of Peru, Illinois. It was here that he grew up reading anything he could get his hands on. As Ty grew older, he branched out and began investing his time in athletics while finding a love for Stephen King. Ty graduated from LaSalle-Peru Township High School and attended Saint Xavier University for a year before returning to Illinois Valley Community College to receive his associates in the sciences. From there, he attended Eastern Illinois University where he received a Bachelors of the Arts in Journalism. While receiving this degree, Ty took a few creative writing courses where he was encouraged to pursue his Master's of the Arts in English. Ty soon got to work and graduated with this degree in May 2017. In his free time, Ty enjoys reading a mix of science fiction, horror, and fantasy. He also enjoys watching shows like the X-Files, Firefly, and Doctor Who for inspiration. When Ty isn't watching his favorite shows or reading, he can be found writing in his blog, watching his favorite sports teams the Chicago Bears and St. Louis Cardinals, or outside walking with his fiancee and his dog while still playing Pokemon Go.
