Dimitra Kaffe

Dimitra Kaffe is a graduate of the Department of Environmental Engineering of the Polytechnic School of the Democritus University of Thrace. Also she has a postgraduate degree in Environmental Design of Infrastructure Works by the Hellenic Open University.

She is a certified adult trainer of non-formal education by National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance in Greece. Also she belongs to the register of certified instructors of employee programs of Labor Force Employment Organization in Greece.

She is incorporated in the Register of Scientific Associates of the Labor Institute of the General Confederation of Workers of Greece, the Register of Investment Interpreters of the Intermediate Body of the Operational Program Competitiveness and Entrepreneurship and the Register of Scientific Associates and Experts of the Hellenic Society for Local Development and Local Government.

Her professional activity began in 2006 as self-employed by setting up her own Environmental Studies Office based in Tyrnavos, which was operating until the end of 2012. The main objective of the project was the elaboration of environmental impact studies and the publication of environmental terms for public works and private activities in the region of Thessaly.

Since 2014, she has been involved in adult education by teaching environmental and protection courses in Public Institute of Vocational Training and "Environmental Education" in Second Chance Schools. Her main interests are the environment and its protection, and she is active in relevant issues aiming at the correct and complete information of the public opinion. Finally, since 2017 she has been writing books with the main subject matter of the environment and its protection.
