Peter Checksfield

British author Peter Checksfield has written more than twenty-five books on music - including publications on ‘Top of the Pops’, ‘Shindig!’, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Hollies, The Searchers, The Tremeloes, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Dave Clark Five, Cliff Richard, Chas & Dave and Jerry Lee Lewis. His books have been positively reviewed by ‘Record Collector’, ‘Shindig!’, ‘Now Dig This!’, ‘Mojo’, ‘Ugly Things’, ‘Wired Up!’, ‘Rock ‘n’ Reel’, ‘The Beat’, ‘Folkrocks’ and many more, and he’s been interviewed for radio shows in the UK, USA and Australia. He lives in a small coastal village in Kent.
