Brian Strasmann

Author Brian Strasmann worked 22 years in the motion picture industry with such producers as Wendy Finerman (Forest Gump, The Devil Wears Prada), John Davis (The Firm, Predator, Die Hard), Lauren Shuller-Donner (Free Willy, The Breakfast Club) and dozens of others. He was an in-house writer at Columbia Pictures and also has worked as a screenwriter for Warner Bros., Paramount, Fox, and Tri-Star Pictures.

Strasmann's produced credits include "Love Lies Bleeding" for Sony Entertainment, "Quicker Than The Eye" for Marchmount Pictures, "Walking Tall II" and "Lone Justice" for Sony Entertainment. Strasmann re-wrote the production draft of the original "Free Willy" for Warner Bros., and later wrote "Pressure Point" for Wynn-Thomas Productions on that lot. "The Secret That Dogs Know" has been a special project for Strasmann and director Harley Cokeliss (Barlow Productions) for over a decade. He now lives in Southwest Utah with numerous pets that inspire his ongoing literary pursuits. "The Secret That Dog's Know" represents his first attempt to morph a screenplay into novel form.
