Augustinus Miri

Roots Made Language:

Augustinus Miri is a Copenhagen-born author who rewrites philosophy from within language itself. For her, words are never neutral; they speak the language of the body, perception, tradition, systems, and emotion. Her books examine how language takes root and how words transform. When the reason within words becomes visible, language no longer performs and begins to inform from inside the body. By translating Being into meaning, she reclaims the power of philosophy - from within the body of language.
