John Walters

John Walters is an ordained minister, life coach, and also serves as Marketplace chaplain for several companies in the Austin, Texas area. John played baseball at Mt. San Antonio Junior College in southern California and then two years at Baylor University where he received his degree in communications. His plan was to be a sports announcer as he worked for several radio stations in central Texas before God called him to the ministry in 1981.

With over 35 years of ministry experience, including 10 years as a minister to single adults and 12 years as missions pastor, John has traveled all over the world leading mission teams and helping to plant churches. He now coaches several pastors and church planters in central Texas and speaks to groups about experiencing the riches in Christ in this life today. John has a love for sports but his passion is encouraging others to live life to the fullest and experience the abundant life in Christ.
