Wayne P. Cooper

Wayne P. Cooper is the former pastor of Lowman Baptist Church of Pine Grove, West Virginia. He and his wife Charity served this congregation for nearly 20 years. They have one son, Nathanael, whom they adopted from Russia when he was only seven months old. Nathanael has been diagnosed with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, which has created a number of challenges for him. Wayne and Charity have traveled down many roads in trying to find help for him. In 2014, they acquired a friendly golden retriever as a service dog for their son. KaBam has been a wonderful addition to their family. He has been a tremendous help to Nathanael and brought all of them many moments of laughter. Recently, their family has moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to family. Wayne loves to study, preach, and apply the Word of God. His greatest concern is always the issues of the heart. He is a graduate of Bob Jones University (Greenville, SC), from which he received a Master of Divinity.
