Riya Gupta

Riya Gupta, was a serious nerd until she discovered her love for writing. A Master’s in Science student in the subject of chemistry, Riya spends most of her time with reactions and chemicals. During her undergraduation, she started writing her diary as her daily escape from the outside chaos. Little did she know, writing was her escape.

A diligent worker, Riya was always seen working on her projects. A keen observer, she often questioned the practicality of life. Being a pure science student, she questioned rationality of emotions. She kept on writing on relationships and often felt the urge to ask others the reason of emotional lag. Being the part of the generation where emotions are just a timed affair, where people are busy finding new love every now and then , Riya has her questions to be answered.

Where the world misinterprets the idea of love with lust, Riya choose to write about these unsaid feelings. Often observing people in night clubs and bars, drinking their sorrows, she is on her way to figure out this chaos.

On her journey of completing her under graduation from University of Delhi and post graduation from Pune, she developed keen interest in ‘shayari’. Travelling, painting and sketching are her other means of escape.
