David Hamilton lives in Hertfordshire and now works in Hertfordshire after almost quarter of a century in the West-end. He is a 40-something year old Surveyor, a bike mechanic and part-time Games-master and enjoys most fantasy genres and road cycling, albeit generally not simultaneously.
Author of the Sci-fi trilogy, 'The Governor's Men', the final instalment of which went live on Amazon on the 18th April 2024.
It is a strange feeling to be rid of the brothers Toradon. Relief for certain with a hint of sadness thrown in for good measure, but overwhelmingly I am just pleased that it's finished. The third book is an improvement on the second, which itself is far superior to the original novella I wrote at Uni. I am almost tempted to rewrite the Administration from scratch but 'it is what it is' as they say and following completion of the professional proof-reading earlier this year, it's as good as it's going to get!
In some ways though, I would rather people started with the Resurgence and finished with the New Empire!
29/10/2024 - The first book in the Claret Theocracy is taking shape. Fantasy genre rather than Sci-fi this time.
26/06/2025 - The first draft of the Initiate's Robes (Book 1 of the Claret Theocracy) is complete and will be winging its way to the proof reader next month. It's a high fantasy romp full of adventure. And pubs. There are plenty of pubs.
15/08/2025 - The Initiate's Robes has made it over to the proof reader and I'm busy working on the maps to accompany the book. The front cover is also taking shape. Publication date - Aiming for October!
12/10/2025 - The Initiative’s Robes is live on Amazon - Hurrah!
